GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- Dru Sjodin finished her shift at the Victoria's Secret store at 4 p.m. Saturday, then did a little shopping at another store in the Columbia Mall in Grand Forks.
As she walked to her car, the 22-year-old University of North Dakota senior from Pequot Lakes, Minn., used her cell phone to call her boyfriend in the Twin Cities. They talked for about 10 minutes, he later told authorities, until the call ended with a startled cry from Dru:
"Oh, my God! No!"
Nobody has heard from her since.
A few hours later, there was a second brief and voiceless call to her boyfriend, and the signal from her cell phone was tracked to a rural area near Fisher, Minn., 13 miles southeast of Grand Forks.
Throughout the city Monday, people took up her disbelieving cry: "Oh, my God, No!"

Oh, that explains that then. I always wondered how someone managed a sign-up date in the future.
I did flag the mod last week on one of the threads. Never got a reply, so I don't know if it was investigated or not.
They may be different people posting from different addresses. But still working in concert, ya know?
Or maybe I'm just suspicious by nature. :D

Obviously I'm late for the party. All I can offer at this point is a Rorshach test. Y'all got 'em tied up? Monitor their responses.

Thanks! Nice to be here.
I'm East Coast. I think when I registered, it defaulted to a PST timestamp, but I changed my preferences to EST afterwards.

"This thread has gotten way off topic. I'd be nice to keep it relevant."
I'll shift gears. What about the guy they charged with kidnapping? Isn't that a stretch? Or a presumption. at the very least?

The samples they are using are really ether which render people unconscious almost immediately.
I'm not proud, but I have played around with ether back in college. It won't render you "unconscious almost immediately" unless somebody puts a bunch of it in a rag or something and holds it over your face for a while. Taking even a deep breath of ether might give you a little head rush but won't render the vast majority of people unconsious or even incapacitated.

Her last words were not " Oh my god No!" If you to to this website you will hear first hand from friends and family that her last words were " OH OH OH" www.finddru.com Then log on to the message boards. The media reported the last words wrong. Hope this clears some stuff up.

This case is interesting as it compares to a case here in Memphis. About four years a young college student disappeared from her apartment, her car was found with groceries still in the car. It was also about this time of year. Of course, it baffled the Memphis police, the family being understandbly frustrated hired a private investigator. After the PI was hired, he was able to identify that a sex offender was in that same area of town the night the girl went missing. To make a long story, the sex offender confessed and even told them were the body was hidden. Lessons learned here, none they just keep on letting these scumbags out of jail.

I don't mean to have fun at the expense of this beautiful young woman and her family by any means. My prayers to them. I mean the fun of rooting out and ridiculing the sickos that play their little childish games on these threads.

I was just thinking, has anyone checked how long it takes to walk from the store where Dru bought her package, to her car. Usually people don't talk on their cell phones while they are buying something and if her and her boyfriend chatted for 10 minutes, then that would imply that it takes 10 minutes to casually walk from the store to her car parking spot. That seems a long ways. You can walk about a mile in 10 minutes. Is that mall that big? if it doesn't take 10 minutes, then Dru would have had to be standing outside her car for a few minutes before she got in it.
Another thing, it is very convenient that she said "Oh my god" then it hung up. Did her abductor know to hand up the phone? it says that she called back 3 hours later but no one was talking which implied that Dru still had the phone with her, and if she still had it in her possession, then why would have she hung up the phone herself? Boy this sounds fishy.

You are denser than plutonium.
Boy this sounds fishy. You're the one who sounds fishy.
And thanks so much for stopping by to hint that this girl staged her own abduction...
