>>>"I'm not attacking the president because he's attacking terrorists. I'm attacking him because he isn't attacking terrorists."

"says Democrats 'are now attacking the president for attacking the terrorists'"

The word DEMOCRATS does not appear in the ad - the ad says, "some are now attacking the president ..." Of course we all know who is being referred to, but the word "democrats" does not appear in the ad and if the dems had just kept their mouths shut .. they could have blamed those statements on France, Germany, Kofi Annan and Soros.

They have slit their own throats by assuming the name "some". How stupid can you get!!!!!

Given the dissection and analysis conducted by the media on this ad on a number of broadcast and cable networks in which they attempt to blunt the effect of the ad on the people by undermining its thrust:

The Republican Party MUST create ads that are dissection & dissassembly proof.

In addition to everything else an ad must do, research prior to the airing must subject the ad to the harshest dissection & disassembly and only bring forward those whose message is so compelling that they withstand the attacks of media opponents and irretrievably stick in the minds of the target audience.

Precision munitions.

"How much can you let go unanswered?" ...it's incumbent upon somebody to defend the president..."

You mean they finally figured this out?!

This ad and the fact that the Democrats are trying to make traction with the wording of the ad, which doesn't mention "Democrats" anywhere in the ad, will only make those in this country who haven't yet seen the ad want to see it in it's entirety, therefore, the whole argument coming from the Democrats may backfire on them.

This is too much like the Democrats and the media glooming over that aircraft landing back in May. Everytime the media wanted to discuss the aircraft landing with some Democrat stooge, they played the footage of Bush in cameraderie with the troops on the ship, to the point it was like a re-election ad. One more feather in Bush's cap.
