I'd imagine it's as simple as the KGB suspecting that Oswald may have been connected to the CIA and they wanted her to keep an eye on him relaying information about him to her uncle. Probably why Oswald married her too, her uncle was a higher up and it gave the CIA a chance to get information. It worked for both the CIA and the KGB. I think she may have genuinely cared for him though because she recently pleaded with the public to look at the evidence closer so that they would know that Oswald didn't shoot the president nor Tippit.

The gun- absolute garbage; scope- absolute garbage; Oswald- poor shot but to the WC that adds up to some of the finest shooting outside of the Olympics (which has NEVER been duplicated under same conditions.) Purchased with a money order bought WHILE OSWALD WAS AT WORK. Gun mailed to name NOT AUTHORIZED to pick up mail at box. NO evidence Oswald ever picked up package, no signed receipt, no memory of clerk, nothing.

Plus cops said the gun they found said "Mauser" on the barrel, one of them was also ran a gun shop! I would think cops in Dallas would know their guns, or at least how to read. The magic bullet is fake, the Tague bullet wasn't found, and the head bullet fragmented. It would've been easy to plant bullets to make it look like it was the Mannlicher, and they did. No way that pristine bullet went through what it did with little damage.

It's interesting to note that Marina blamed the FBI. It makes no sense for the FBI to kill Kennedy because then they would get Goodwin's lover, LBJ, a truly horrible president.

Hoover was obsessed with civil rights groups. He saw Kennedy as their ally. The CIA wanted Vietnam and Cuba, and LBJ wanted the presidency. A perfect storm.

Excellent post. Connally was in the jump seat in front of JFK and was probably 6 or 8 inches lower. Also, the entrance wound scar on Connally's back was oblong and about one inch long, which could have only happened if the bullet was tumbling. Reason for the tumbling? It passed through the tissue of JFK's neck first, without striking any bone.

Autopsy reports show the back would on Kennedy had a 45 degree downward angle. The wound on Connally had a 39 degree downward angle. How in the world did a bullet enter the back going downward at 45 degrees and exit higher up on Kennedy's body (the neck), and then go into Johnson at 39 degrees downward? The magic bullet theory is ridiculous. Even Spector (it's author) has admitted it's wrong.

Kennedy and Hoover hated each other. I believe the relations between Hoover and LBJ were good.

One of LBJ's first acts after the assassination is was that he appointed Hoover director for life. Yep, they got along fine.

It would be my belief and opinion that LHO was an American agent of some sort beginning from some time during his Marine Corp service, I believe his recruitment into this agency would have caused his appeal for early discharge from the military. Another interesting note would be that all of these alleged "Oswalds" that were being seen in Dallas and New Orleans started occuring, interestingly enough while the real Oswald was in the Soviet Union. The most interesting of these being an attempted purchase of some trucks for use by The Friends for Democratic Cuba which within the articles of incorporation was Guy Bannister. We need not go into the connection there. Bannister formerly of ONI and FBI, the question remains why a man connected with such a group and our governments intelligence angencies would have such a close connection to a supposed "communist, marxist". How would Bannister have known about this man Oswald? Well, we know that Oswald served in David Ferries Civil Air Patrol while a teenager, perhaps he would have met Bannister at this time, and also could have paved his way into an intelligence opportunity himself via Bannister. Of course this is just a pinch of some of the peculiar acquaintances in this case. Certainly our government hasn't been too forthcoming with any information, that would implicate Oswald or prove Oswald guilty, since 1963. Marina herself believes now that LHO was an informant for the FBI, is she right? Who knows? In by gut feeling I believe that if the truth ever came out we would find that a bigger injustice has been done to LHO than even President Kennedy. I certainly would never entertain the possibility that the Soviets had a hand in this. We know that Kennedy refused air cover during the Bay of Pigs, averted a possible conflict with the Soviets during the missle crisis by promising that American forces would never invade Cuba in return for the removal of those missles, and that we were going to pull out of Vietnam, which of course, I think its safe to say, the Soviets were just slightly involved with a certain Vietnamese government. Having said all of this, why on earth would the Soviets or Castros Cuba want Kennedy out? That would be welcome foreign policy for their purposes, the preceding and following administrations certainly didn't see things quite this way. But of course that still leaves open to interpretation exactly who now would oppose this world view in that time? One other fact is why, if Oswald was possibly suspect to be spying for the Soviets or acting on their behalf wasn't he debriefed by the CIA upon his return to the US or tried as a traitor if the government suspected that he did indeed give up military secrets to the Soviets or even allowed back into the country. Well, if any doubt lingered in the mind of the government about LHO it obviously quickly vanished considering that he took a job at Jaggers-Chiles-Stovall company which did highly secret photographic work for the US government. Coincidentally he began working there Oct. 11, 1962 and the cuban missle crisis began on Oct. 18, 1962.

“...went to the Dallas police station on an impulse and was so overwhelmed by uncontrollable rage at the death...” Ruby informed his friends in the Dallas Police Department after his arrest that he decided not to shoot Oswald Friday night, 11/22/1963, at his “press conference” for fear he might injure one of them in the process. By definition he was guilty of premeditated murder.
