Garbage Time(Dead U.S. soldiers can’t compete with Laci/Kobe/Jacko on "the network America trusts.")

Any network that would hire Shepard Smith to do anything other than empty the spittoons is seriously screwed up.

Watching Fox is like watching the dimo talking points. Whatever the topic is on Fox & Friends, it will continue throughout the day. Just different commentators. I get tired of reading the scroll line to get the latest news.

Like you, I have been going to MSNBC and CNN to at least find out what is going on in the world. When the Fox ratings drop, maybe they will remember who put them at number one in the first place.

I agree that I have been turning off Fox due to the constant coverage of, Peterson and Jackson.

Frustration of Fox News is understandable. However, regardless of what Fox News does, I will NEVER turn on CNN. They are unforgivable with how they mis-represent the facts. I will read the news via internet rather than support such a liberal mouthpiece news source. They have done nothing to support our troops. They are shameless.

You could say it's pro-war to not cover it so much. Out of sight, out of mind. We don't want hours of loops of bodybag and coffin footage, and that's what would get on TV.

There is a lot more to cover over there than body bags and coffins. If you speak with the troops the majority want to finish what they started and don't agree with the "Bring Them Home Now Crowd". A lot of us do frown on the sensationalization of showing just the dead or the assumption that that is the only story.

After President Bush declared the "end of major combat operations" on May 1, the cable networks effortlessly returned to their prewar programming staples -- pop culture and true crime. At the time, this made sense; few expected the casualties of the postwar to exceed the official war.

Count me among that "few."

The newspapers aren't as bad as the tube about Lacy/Scott/Kobe/Michael. Not as up to the minute for breaking news but a good source never the less.

I agree, reading this article just pointed out how biased this guy is. Why would he pick on fox, when they are by far the most unbiased when it comes to reporting on the war? So what if they show the glitzy celeb crap, that is what is making up the news these days... They are just covering what goes on in our country... That is my opinion. I am just glad they don't filter everything out and try to tell me what I think, like CNN.
