Very good letter! "In These Times" is as leftist as they come.

It was encouraging to see that every comment on that article criticized the author, and set her straight.

Did anyone notice that someone from Philly posted, and said that they're Terri's cousin?

I'm glad you posted that reply about the article Barbara Miner wrote. I love the scathing comments that were posted! The one from Terri's cousin was a nice surprise. Sometimes I forget that Terri has extended family just like the rest of us, because we don't see their names in the headlines.

You could tell what a biased article it was from the inflaming language. I ROTFLMAO when I saw her comment regarding Father Frank Pavone from Priests For Life, labelling it as an extremist anti-abortion group. Extremist, huh? She has a lot of nerve. I guess "extremist" is what you get called if you take a pro-life position, because according to the left, that's got to be pretty extreme to even consider upholding one of our constutional rights.

Wow! I will have to pray for Ms. Miner, that the scales fall off her eyes! God sure has added many people to my prayer list, ever since I heard of Terri a few mere months ago. I guess He's been trying to get my attention for a while now!

Wampus SC,
I don't hold it against them that they are leftist,
but to print trash like this Miner piece, and to
use Terri's story as the lead-in gets my gall up.
Like Terri's story isn't really important. What's
important is that there are too many Republicans,
and too many people who believe in God. And this
&8##6!!&# "journalist" thinks it is her mission to
warn everybody about how dangerous that is!!!!!!!!
Yes, I noticed Terri's cousin posting a response.
And it was nice to see Pat Anderson's comment too:

"In the GUISE of opposition to euthanasia"?? I assure you, the Schindler family and I are united in our oppostion to Terri's euthanasia. We all believe the selective killing of disabled people such as Terri is nothing less than euthanasia, and there is no "guise" to it. A coalition of more than a dozen disability rights groups agrees with us, too.

The use of the word "guise" in this article is offensive and insulting. A better use of the word might be "in the guise of objective reporting, Ms Miner showed up for work."

Pat Anderson
Schindler family attorney

I nominate Pat Anderson to replace Greer on the Pinellas County probate court bench!
