EXPLICIT letters and poems said to have been written by Michael Jackson to his alleged victim will form the centrepiece of the sex-abuse case against him.
Police seized at least a dozen letters during the raid on Jackson's Neverland ranch last week.
"The district attorney is convinced these letters will be crucial to the case against Jackson," a source close to the investigation said yesterday.
"The boy told investigators about letters and poems and their precise location inside Michael's home. These letters were among the evidence seized, along with videotapes.
"They are very explicit and intimate and show a degree of familiarity. Basically, they appear to be love letters from Michael to the boy."
The accuser, 12-year-old Los Angeles cancer victim ******, also told police Jackson's pet name for him was Rubba.
"The boy first told this to his therapist, then repeated it to police," the source said.
"He said Jackson called him Rubba because one of the games they used to play was called rubba rubba. The boy said, 'Michael told me he was my rubba rubba friend."'
Although police handling the case in Santa Barbara, California, have been barred from revealing any details, it is understood the alleged abuse took place in February.
Jackson is said to have befriended ****** -- who, during a controversial British documentary screened earlier this year, admitted having shared a bed with the singer -- over a long period.
A source close to 45-year-old Jackson said: "For the past five or six years, he's taken kids from fractured homes and nurtured them as a father figure. As they get older, he teaches them fun things to do.
"Michael says he learned this from an adult when he was a teenager. No-one on his staff ever said anything. He's a tyrant. Everybody obeys the man."
Another Jackson source said: "The boy told of everything that went on and described things in Michael's closets, his bathroom, what was under his bed."
In her statements to police, ******'s mother, #####, has revealed that Jackson encouraged her son to call him "Daddy".
##### has claimed she, ****** and his two siblings were held virtual prisoners at Neverland, 100km north of Santa Barbara.
When she learned of her son's accusations of molestation -- which included claims that Jackson plied him with wine and sleeping pills -- she fled with her family in the dead of night.
A source close to district attorney Tom Sneddon, who will prosecute the case, said: "The DA is very confident with the evidence he has. This includes letters, videos and computer files. They believe they have enough to nail Jackson."
Jackson's legal team is said to be encouraging him to consider a plea bargain, possibly an insanity defence that would allow him to serve time in a state mental hospital instead of jail.
There was speculation yesterday that the singer raised his $3 million bail with the help of Miami-based Al Malnik, a lawyer for notorious gangster Meyer Lansky, who died in 1983.
Malnik reportedly began making large loans to Jackson when his career nosedived.
Malnik, 69, was cited by the New Jersey Casino Control Commission in 1980 and 1992 as a person of unsuitable character.
The prosecution source said: "It just gets weirder and weirder. Michael supposedly has financial problems, but hiring someone with Mob connections is bizarre."
Prosecutors are said to be spreading a net around the world for other alleged victims. One boy of special interest is said to be in El Salvador, another in South Africa.
They are also said to be considering quizzing the son of an English premiership footballer.
Charges of aiding and abetting are likely to be filed against members of Jackson's entourage.
At the same time as the Neverland swoop, police raided two homes in Los Angeles.
One was reportedly the residence of Marc Schaffel, a gay video producer who filmed the rebuttal tape Jackson released just after Martin Bashir's British documentary aired.

I could not help but notice many of his victims are from out of country. Perhaps his supply of American children dried up after his last encounter with the law.
Hopefully they will finally have the evidence to put this scum away for life.

If I were saying all this after he was found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, I'd say you were right, I am being an apologist. But as of now I'm just waiting until all the facts are in. It's not looking too good for Jackson, but I don't trust the media. I didn't trust them with the facts about Rush and I don't trust them now. NOBODY knows yet. In time we will. I want to know why you are so hoping Jackson is guilty. I know I'm hoping he's innocent.

Funny ha ha or funny odd?
It's called common decency. Just because it's available doesn't mean the child's name must be posted everywhere one takes it in their head to do it.

Just my opinion but sexually abusing children is a crime against what God holds most precious. It is right up there with murder ect.
Satan loves to disrupt all that is Godly.
The good news is we all have the opertunity to live out our own lives knowing we are only accountable to Jesus Christ.
Oh and sure I will render (pay taxes and be lawful) unto Ceaser. (sarcasm)

For Jacko, I think it's just about the money. I think the more interesting question is what the Saudi's see in Jacko?
Even they must see he's a has-been and his track record on business ventures is not great.
Maybe they saw an opporunity to use him as a frontman to charities (children's?) which they control. Could be a way to funnel cash.
Jacko get money and kids; so he's happy. The Saudis have a new way to support their terrorist buddies. Looks like a win-win for them.
Jacko's buddy Prince Alwaleed bin Talal has donated to the mujahideen. He also gave $6 million to Palestinians thrown out of work by the intifada, and he helped reconstruct Lebanese power plants destroyed by the Israeli air force (source).

I was one of those kids starting at the age of 6 and ending at the age of puberty. If you lived in California during any of that time you may still have legal recourse. My understanding is that California (and perhaps other states) has greatly extended or eliminated the statute of limitations for rape.

Where did he go? Banned or just moved on. Perhaps new screen name?

Context alert. I dont care what the mother's actions were in assessing whether michael abused the kid or not. This is a distraction. Of course mothers who would use a child to extract money from someone via this method are to be condemned and probably charged criminally. But even if she did, if he abused the kid, he did the crime. This is sort of a way people have of defending criminals. Like Clinton's pecadillos,,those defending him used the everybody did it defense. Well, this mom can be Saint Teresa or a hardened extortionist,,it confers no particular immunity for Michael.

You have a point there. Why is she hanging around these people. But she doesn't look particularly freakish to me.

I addressed the perps over a decade ago and lawyers asked what I wanted.
I told them all involved needed to publically apoligize to me and any other kids. Lawyers were not interested as I was not interested in any monetary award.
My feeling is I am a strong independant woman who has a blessed life and I will leave the rest up to God on judgement day.

Noone is putting the man in prison and he is innocent till proven guuilty in a court. But as the public, we can speculate all we want. We do it about every case. And we are aided by freedom of the press and freedom of speech. If you want the populace to behave as jurors, well, it won't happen. We are not that pristine.

Unfortunately, I think we have all seen this child if you watched that train-wreck of a documentary on MJ last year with the British reporter. I believe this is the boy that holds Michael's hand (puts his head on his shoulder), and if I remember correctly his sister spoke of how Michael had helped him when he was sick.
I notice now that when Fox news shows different film clips of MJ while they discuss the latest news, any clips from that documentary has the boy's face scrambled. Prior to this scandal, the boy's face was shown in the documentary and he spoke in the film.
That's just my guess, but I think it is that boy. Everyone could tell that relationship was inappropriate.
