Oh, name calling. Well, I guess that trumps my logic.
Yes, I read the bill. Yes, it expands government. Yes, Bush campaigned on smaller, less intrusive government. Yes, we got a huge government expansion and more attacks on Constitutional rights. Yes, I believed Republicans in 2000. No, I will not believe them again. No, I am not a Democrat, nor will I ever be.

Same here...I voted for Bush...I kept a bottle of champagne in the fridge in fall of 2000 waiting for the results to be officially tallied...I celebrated when bush was elected....I *won't* be voting for him again.
Bush has spent more money, and increased the size and power of government WAY beyond anything the democrats could ever have hoped for....and paid for it all on a credit card to boot.
Unless there is an attractive third party candidate...I guess I stay home next time.
Republicans are better off in the minority...at least then they pretend to care about controlling spending...
