My kook conspiracy: Kennedy was in so much back pain that he couldn't take it anymore, so he ordered several of his associates to get rid of him and make it look like a lone gunman did it. If he had actually killed himself, everyone would hate him for it, so he had others do it. Just my whacko kook theory.

There was one man who killed JFK and his name was Lee Harvey Oswald. No significant, credible body of evidence indicates that Oswald acted in concert with others. There was no conspiracy, foreign or domestic, that brought Kennedy down. Fine. I'll sign onto that line of thinking just as soon as the government un-seals the files they are sitting on until 2029. Until then, I'll go on believing that there is something that it's hiding.

When an article makes a pronouncement like this without addressing in specificity some of the extremely odd circumstances, it does a lot to help me skip the rest.
I saw something in the last year or so of how tapes of the dallas police radio had been found, and that said tapes did show multiple shots in close succession, i.e. from more than one gun. Does anyone else remember this or what became of it?

How many times do I have to admit to it?

It showed up last night on the History Channel. Apparently, there were FOUR shots, and after all the usual tests, replications, yada yada, it turns out the the FOURTH shot was fired from the grassy knoll. They ran tests from all over the place. Evidently one copper's mike stuck open and that's how they found the additional shot. Since all the MD's who worked on JFK testify that there were TWO ENTRY HOLES (both in the FRONT, one throat, one forehead), this fits. But not to worry. All those MD's were wrong, Oswald was the best shot on Earth at the time, and the delay in moving Oswald was just a co-incidence

"Ballistics tests confirmed that the two bullets that struck JFK were fired from that rifle."
I'm not up to date anymore on the specifics of the bullets, but I'm not sure this is true. There was the "pristine" bullet that was found on the stretcher in the hospital, but was there another intact bullet ever extracted from either Kennedy or Connally? I sure don't remember one.

I remember hearing about the tape of the radio, but not what became of it.

Please. Whatever is in those files is nothing of importance. So why are they sitting on it until 2029?

Did Lee Harvey doctor JFK's autopsy photos? Did he steal JFK's brain?

So why are they sitting on it until 2029?I'll take "they know the World Government will be in charge by then and it won't matter either way" for $1,000 Alex.

A good question which has no answer because the Zapruder film clearly shows severe trauma to the right temple area of Mr Kennedy's head.
no such trauma is shown in the autopsy

ABC and Peter Jennings aired a pretty convincing report last night.(I believe very little that comes from ABC)
The "pristine" bullet was anything but....Harvey's brother and family members knew what a wacko LHO was...showed evidence Russia and Castro also thought him a wacko...they addressed the open cop microphone, too....and dumped on Oliver Stone.
Precious little in their treatment pointed towards a conspiracy.

The tape is apparently of a stuck open microphone of noise about one minute after the shooting. There was some conversation that was barely audible that was recorded elsewhere that allowed the time stamp. So the conclusion on that show was that the 4 shots detected on that tape were just noise.
I believe this was covered in a show on the court channel on Wednesday night. The simulation on that show was done by Failure Analysis and I was extremely disapointed in their assumptions. I taped it so I'll check

"Precious little in their treatment pointed towards a conspiracy."
In all fairness, these are the same folks who simply ignored or poo-poo'ed any of the numerous issues during clinton's reign when it didn't suit their political views.
I have no idea if LHO was involved in ths or not, but the magic bullet theory is laughable. The apparently refusal of the commission to incorporate numerous eyewitness statements is reminiscent of TWA 800's numerous missile witnesses.

The media will never stop talking about JFK. He's their hero and any talk of his assassination is a happy day for them.
Actually heard a radio commentator about an hour ago state that......since we can assume JFK would have had a second term, we can assume he would have been one of our GREATEST presidents.
Ludicrous in the extreme. He went to Dallas because he was in political hot water and was hoping to shore up support.

ABC's main thrust, btw, was computer animation matched to film footage showing Connally twisting in the front seat at the sound of the first shot that missed. The twisting lined him up well for the shot through JFK's neck.
Also, an elderly gun authority easily fired 3 shots from the same bolt action gun in 7.2 seconds (less than LHO) and this guy paused before the last (and fatal) shot.
I've always thought the shot from the grass knoll was likely echo off the walls of Daly plaza.??
