That is because you do not belong to a Christian Church. You belong to a Protestant "daughter" of the Christian church.

Christianity has ALWAYS recognized apostolic lineage. Protestantism has to various degrees. Fundamentalism doesn't recognize it at all. But fundamentalism is not Christianity but a "perversion" of it.

Prove to me that historic Christianity holds your view that apostolic lineage means absolutely nothing, and I'll admit that it means nothing and in fact is not a Christian belief.

I don't mean to sound harsh, but it's time that we stop calling every religion under the sun that claims to be Christian a "Christian" religion.

Christianity has a history of belief which can be found throughout through two millenium. In other words, if you think what you believe is Christian, find historic proof that your belief has in fact, been a very long held belief. And I'm not talking about the last five hundred years either. And no, I'm not talking about heresies or schism which may be similiar to protestism. I'm talking unbroken belief.

If you can't find historic proof which spans both millineums, then you really can't call what you believe a Christian belief. It is a protestant belief invented by man (or derived/perverted by man from historic Christianity).

Please do not refer to your beliefs as Christian. They are protestant, not Christian.

That does not however, mean that there can't be ecuminism. Christ will work through all of us.
