Did we ever figure out the status of the admission of the deposition of the doctor who did the bone scan? I got an email today that made it sound like it's in. I am still confused on that. I took a break yesterday so I'm a little behind.
Here is the content of that portion of the email (but I think it refers back to the article that caused so much confusion in the first place):
.
Judge Denies Michael's Bid to Block New Info on Potential Abuse of Terri Schiavo
Without a hearing, Judge Farnell first agreed with Michael's request to block the discovery of new information regarding Terri's bone scan. Less than an hour later, he conducted an emergency hearing and reversed his order! You can read all about it by clicking on the title.
It SOUNDS like just about the best legal news we could wish. That bone scan is damning to MS. If it's innocent, he wouldn't need to block it, would he? If it shows that he probably beat Terri (and of course, it does), it should persuade any court to remove him as guardian. Even Jodi might figure him out a little better.
I should think Michael would be sweating bullets about now.
This is the press briefing from Pat Anderson, posted on terrisfight.org. Now I'm assuming that since the judge allowed the deposition to be taken that it can also be admitted in the guardianship hearing(??). Can any lawyer types answer that question?

PRESS BRIEFING
an update in the fight to save Terri Schindler-Schiavo
For immediate release: Wednesday, November 20, 2003, 5:30p.m.
For more information: Megan Dillon -- (727) 418-6013,
meganmdillon@yahoo.com In an emergency hearing late this afternoon, Sixth District Circuit Court Judge Crockett Farnell vacated his previously issued stay of discovery in Schindler v. Schiavo. Schindler family attorney Pat Anderson argued that the pending Fourth Motion to Disqualify Judge, which is currently before Judge George Greer, should have no effect on other proceedings related to the case.
"Today's actions prove that every attempt is being made to delay proceedings in this case and hasten Terri's death," said Pat Anderson. "However, we will continue to fight for Terri's life and make sure that all of the facts in this case are fully explored."
