Keep in mind: the anti-war protests of the '60s were funded by communists who sought to undermine the country.

Can you come up with any evidence for this statement? Lots of people were against the war in VietNam. It wasn't necessary to fund them to get them to protest.

The money for the buses, the loudspeaker systems, the stages etc has been traced from the KGB to various communist front groups to the antiwar "leaders." Even the Russians are very open about it now. What you are saying is a silly as asking for proof of the Rosenbergs' guilt.

Lots of people were against the war in VietNam.

Actually, lots were against the way it was prosecuted by the at-the-time-Liar-In-Chief, LBJ.

(Seems LBJ also taught Clinton a few things about how to handle politically-damaging people, BTW)

Unfortunately, the real reason for the protests--LBJ/MacNamara's complete disregard for the US military man--was over-ridden by the pure anti-US crowd.

There were, and ARE, such people as "honest" protesters.

For example, in Iraq--rather than suffer continuous guerilla attacks, why doesn't GWB simply order the new MOAB to touch pavement in Tikrit?
