Seems to me your way is a waste of Kero and woodchuck, both.

I hate woodchucks too much.
They ate my roses, of all things, so I have an inter-species 'specie-ism' against them.
Rats, rats can and will be dealt with any way I can, be it 12 guage Mossberg or plinking them to death with a bb gun.
