That video shot always made me think that the bullet came from the FRONT---i.e. that the incoming force of the shot from the FRONT (e.g. from grassy knoll) pushed his head BACK, not that the bullet came in through the BACK and exited out the FRONT causing his head to move BACK.

As someone who has unfortunately been the victim of a massive brutal assault to the head, it doesn't make ANY sense to me that as someone is hit that the head would move TOWARD what hit it. Mine sure didn't! But I was hit by a guy's FISTS, not by a BULLET.

NOVA did a great documentary on this whole thing. Including the mystery bullet. They showed army test footage. The tests were done on melons, the closest thing you can get to a human head without using human heads. All the melons, when shot, jumped towards the bullet. Apparently the penetrating bullet exerts little force on the melon. The large explosive blowout that occurs as the bullet exits does create a force causing the melon to jump.

They did testing on what bullets do when they penetrate the human body as well. They fired into gelatin. Those bullets did the most remarkable dances you have ever seen. The only thing they didn't do is travel in a straight line.

That said, we may never really know what happened to Kennedy. I did see the documentary they were showing recently suggesting that Johnston killed him. I also think that it has absolutely no relevance to today.
