Since belonging to AARP costs about $8 per year and the savings in hotel costs, and all the other benefits far far outweighs the cost I doubt very much if these cancellations will remain in effect.

I agree. They will get over their hissy-fit soon enough. The few that cancelled just don't want President Bush to win on anything.

I've never joined AARP because I always believed the costs far outweighed the benefits; they always seemed to lobby for government programs that were extremely costly both in dollars and freedom.
