When Medicare was passed cost estimates for 1990 were supposed to be $10 billion. The actual figure was a little over $65 billion, or 6.5 times the initial estimate. GWB's Socialist prescription drug bennie is "estimated" to cost $400 billion over 10 years. Multiply that by 6.5 and you get $2.6 TRILLION DOLLARS. Where exactly are we going to get the money to pay for this boondoggle? Answer: Your children and grandchildren. This is pandering and vote buying plain and simple.
