TEHRAN (Reuters) - A fire bomb has been thrown at the British embassy compound in central Tehran, but no one was hurt and little damage caused, a British diplomat told Reuters.

The attack, which follows bombings on British targets in Istanbul on Thursday that killed 27 people, was not preceded by any warnings nor was there any immediate claim of responsibility.

"We're in touch with the Iranian authorities and we're reviewing our security arrangements," the British diplomat said on Friday.

It's bombing time again. They seem to like to start up around this time.
