I used to live in San Antonio and we could not water our lawns or wash our cars because of a salamander in a creek that was supposedly endangered in another town about 15 miles distant. They used that d*mn salamander to stop construction, building and quality of life in all of San Antonio depending on how deep the creek was. The power of the enviro-whacko laws is amazing.
