We're spoiled from all the great pictures! Have to get "dosed up" before I go to the North Country (can you hear my WI accent?) for a wonderful T-Giving with parents, sisters, and a few other assorted relatives.

I LOVE Laura's suit! The red accents and buttons are soooo attractive! She looks so THIN! Wish I knew her diet secret.

Thank God they're back safely.

Back to check in and check out the pictures between last-minute packing, office stuff, etc.

Fawnn, I'm so glad you're here, I wanted to tell you how much I liked the stylish look you suggested for Laura's gown. The one she wore to the Queen's dinner at the palace. I've long thought her gown's orginal neckline was not as becoming on her as the one you provided in the photo. Also, the slightly elongated torso you gave it, along with the treatment of the skirt, was so very flattering. Honestly, I think you should send the before and after examples to her secretary.

What impresses me in these pictures (minus the dim-witted protestors) is that the Queen, the Blairs, and the others pictured seem to genuinely LIKE our President. Queen Elizabeth seems especially smittened w/him! And w/Laura, our beautiful and real First Lady.

I'm reminded of the contrast w/that awful and stiff shot of the Clintons w/the Queen. The body language and facial expressions in that shot plus the sloppy, hanging over her shoes of Chelsea's black (naturally) pantsuit spoke worlds. They were such an embarassment. The Bushes are CLASS and the Queen knows it...as do we.

Ditto. I've so relieved they're back home, safe and sound. I thought the president looked tired the whole time he was gone and that always troubles me. He has bags under his eyes.
