Go where you gotta go, do what you gotta do; a half century ago when I lived in rural Japan such unisex facilities were the norm and they and we survived it. Probably queers would find it disconcerting if there were no outhouse norms to violate, though! In Japan at that time it was clear that outhouses were for evacuation, not procreation
Clearly the most important right nowadays is to violate norms, unless the norm might happen to be respect for the law or for anyone else.
