The #1 reason for false accusation of rape: the accuser makes the accusation to conceal consentual sex from a boyfriend/parent. Well there you have it folks.

Get real. She's 19 years old. Why would she have to "conceal" anything, and how would a false rape accusation "conceal" it?

I can see the Bryant camp's victim smear campaign is having its desired effect.

I hate to break this to you, but no matter where you stand on this case, false rape allegations are OFTEN used to conceal either 1)some form of sexual contact that was NOT supposed to happen because of a relationship or what have you or 2) to extract oneself from trouble with the parents

An example of 1) would be the woman who started the Tailhook scandal by alleging a gang rape took place. It turned out she had a fiance and had participated in an orgy and didn't want him to find out she was a whore.

An example of 2) would be Tawana Brawley.

It's not a victim smear campaign, dolt. It's a man trying to save what's left of his reputation and trying to be free while doing so.
