Why can't women who bring rape charges, have the privilige of being considered innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt

Hey, go ahead and amend the Constitution to require such. Until then, that's how things work. Because if she is considered to be innocent, that means that by default Kobe's guilty until proven innocent, which is the opposite of what is mandated by the Constitution.

And, FWIW, I generally despise professional basketball and think Kobe's a damn ballhog and a prima donna, so I'm not in the "jockstrap sniffing" brigade. I simply think that an allegation of rape is a serious thing and the standard of proving guilt beyond a reasonable doubt is critical here, because we're talking about twenty years of a man's life.

"We're talking about twenty years of a man's life."

We are talking of everyday being open season on our Mothers, daughters, grandaughters , sisters, aunts, and female cousins, to any and all pieces of feces who are of the opinion that a woman is nothing but a piece of meat to do with as they please, if we put her in the position of either suffering in silence or being accused of being a wanton horney slut by the Lawyer SOB's who will destroy whom ever they must to get their pervert freed so he can do it again and keep the fees rolling in.

I don't believe there is anything in the Constitution that implies that the accuser is guilty of perjury until they prove that the innocent until proven guilty perp has been convicted.

because we're talking about twenty years of a man's life.

Do you know that if he's convicted, he'll have to register as a sex offender in every town he goes to?

Do you know that there's a chance he may not be able to live with HIS OWN CHILD?

Even if he were to get probation, the state of Colorado is going to strap a penile plethysmograph on him and show him videos of woman having sex with each other, et al., and if he gets an erection, he goes straight to jail!!!!
