"I have spoken to Fox News correspondant Carol McKinley a little bit who is covering this story for Fox News. She was the one who broke the t-shirt story. She said the Sheriff and the DA are barely on speaking terms."
So what? The DA still felt he had enough to bring a likelihood of conviction or he would not have brought the case to trial.

The local DA is going to hang the local Sheriff who he has to work with every day out to dry after the local Sheriff goes behind his back and obtains an arrest warrant. Yeah I could see they would have a GREAT working relationship after he made the local Sheriff look like a complete a**hole. And I can see what a great career move it would be for the local DA to hang the "poor sweet local country bumpkin" out to dry up against the big bad rich black out of town athlete. No sir there is no other reason to bring the case to trial, but the "slam-dunk evidence. Riiiiiight.
