I appreciate your point. I have seen footage of Seattle, Miami, London, San Francisco, etc. If you don't want to call them subversives, I respect that. I am not afraid to do that. If you stand somewhere with a sign, you are not subversive. If your actions, however, are doing harm in our war on terror, if you are disrupting business, if you are doing property damage, if you are making the enemy believe we are going to cut and run --- you are a subversive. That is what I'm seeing. It goes from the top RAT leaders all the way down to the unemployed idiots in the streets.

I agree.... but why is it conservatives have to sit and take it when they are called racist hatemongerers, etc.?

Seriously--a friend of mine up here asked me what party GW Bush belonged to (even though she "hates him", as per the typical line up here), she had no idea if he was a Republican or a Democrat. (REALLY!)

I said, "he's a Republican."

Her response?

"Oh, so he's a racist, selfish guy?" (this is a direct quote, I kid you not!)

I explained to her that GW was hardly a racist; I explained a bit about the court appointments--she was shocked.

Look, the national media makes it clear that Republicans are X, Y , Z (fill in the vicious insult).

Why can't we do the same? WE'll never have the national media to back us up anyway....
