I would like to see her succeed and become a pro surfer despite the injury. I have seen plenty of people limb impaired go onto higher things. She could still be the best surfer ever. Sounds like her attitude will also help ensure that.

I also admire her courage and determination. That being said, if one of my limbs ever became a hors d'oeovre for a freakin' fish I would have to confine my watersports to a body of water no bigger than my bathtub.She makes me feel like a wimp.
