"veiled slur on the world's 1 billion practicing Muslims"

I am insulted at the implications of a slur being 'veiled' in connection to Muslims.

The real "veiled" slur to Islam is that in most of the Muslim world, the modern convenience that Mad Dog Christian Cartoonist Hart has depicted, is unavailable to the faithful, who must make do with holes in the ground, or the back of a convenient dune. The Muslims apparently much prefer to invest in RPG's and AK 47s, and other noisy infidel control devices, rather than any sanitary (or otherwise) infrastructure.

The technology in Hart's cartoon may be outdated and whimsical to you infidels, but in Islamic lands I assure you based on personal observation, it would, if they had the skill and the will to dig a hole and erect such an imposing structure without relying on guest workers, represent a giant leap forward.

BTW, the use of the modern convenience depicted is also quite impossible if one is to follow the explicit directions in the Q'uran (note pc spelling) for handling the excretory functions of the faithful.
