Hehehe. I've really enjoyed the witty commentary here. I grew up with the 2nd subway surfer. I knew him for 6 years. Actually, I had no choice in knowing him. He did a lot of cruel things to a lot of girls, but mostly myself. Don't compare your sons to him. I'd like to think your sons are better than him. Don't compare the Wright Brothers to him. The Wright Brothers were willing to risk themselves in the name of science.

I'm supposed to be compassionate about Brian. People expect everyone to forget who a person was and just say "they were smart boys". I can't do that. He had a horrible impact on my life, one that I may finally find closure for. I will say Brian was very book smart. We were both in top classes and if it weren't for my emotional anguish, I would've stayed there. He never used common sense. It was all about getting laughs with his friends.

I seriously don't know if his family knew what he was doing, but believe me, this accident was just the end of a long rope, waiting to hang him.

My father says it's a shame. He could've really made something out of himself. That's true, he could have.. But he let his stupidity get in the way.

His friends and he used to throw rocks at me, among many things. I consider that bridge to me the great karmic rock that paid him back.
