In many ways I think they are under divine protection, if that makes sense.That may explain why I instinctively like Musharaff, he may be Pakistan's GWB in a way, the right man at the right time.

Nailed it on the head, in my opinion.
GWB, Blair, Karzai and Musharaff all fall under that category for me.
I know that I wouldn't necessarily agree with every position of Karzai or Musharaff, if I studied them closely. But, in terms of the work that they have done, at this time in history, I have to give them both extreme credit.
All four of these men have stepped up to the plate, and delivered their best. History WILL remember them fondly, I believe.
