Has anyone ever seen a picture of OBL sitting in front of a bookcase full of books. Not that it means much, but I have seen similar pictures of bin Laden in front of books. I believe they were taken before September 11th, 2001.

As you pointed out on your daily thread...
if Ijaz is correct, and bin Laden has drastically changed his appearance, then this explains WHY he hasn't made a new video tape that would advertize his attempt to hide.
Excellent point!

I'll give him great credit for his response to September 11th, he truly had no choice! I did watch his initial address to his nation, where he painfully explained to those who supported the Taliban, why America wanted Pakistan to give them the access they needed to get into Afghanistan.
That being said, he is a dictator, and I distrust all dictators. It's just me being an American, as simplistic as that sounds.

When he says that the source is "un-impeachable", what is the implication?
His source is Bill Clinton

the Iranians have seriesly misunderestimated the guy on the other side of the table. This President and this administration is leaning forward. I still wonder about all this foreign money that is pouring in to defeat Pres. Bush., i.e. Moveon.org and Soros. The primary beneficiary that I see are the terrorists, so I have to wonder if money sources and terrorists are associated in the back rooms...

If true, I wouldn't exactly view this as surprising news. Doesn't mean much, though, unless we get specific intel on his location.

Hell, the Iranians ADMITTED IT!Iran admitted to having unspecified AQ operatives in "custody," some of whom were believed senior leaders.

Just like the memo that about OBL and Saddam that Fox reported. I will wait for the DOD or State Dept. to confirm, thanks. The memo was accurate.

Ijaz's credibility is just shy of debka.com's, imho. Every time I see him on FNC he's spewing about the latest overblown AQ story du-jour. Never seems to pan out. Remember the AQ has suitcase nukes claims, AQ has chem/bio weapon claims, UBL will be caught in two weeks claim, etc., etc.??? I may not put him in the DEBKA category, LOL, but I do view his comments with some suspicion.

Bill Clinton was impeached. Unsuccessfully.
No. The Rapist is still very much impeached. The Senate Dems just refused to view evidence and remove him from office.

If there is ANY credibility to the story of Iran giving aid and comfort..then one can easily deduce that the question that the administration is now pondering is whether Iran, or Syria, first..or both.....FWIW, I think the WH hopes/hoped? that Iran would collapse from within...the problem now is that there is no way at all that Israel will allow Iran to go nuclear....Osirk 2 is already laid on...if the Israelis go in..that, in effect, is a "win" for OBL...so, one could ask..if we remove the Hassad regime..which could be done easily...though the Israelis would have to be prepared to deal with large missile attacks from the crazies in Lebanon...would that provide the push to topple the Iranain mullahs from within?

If there is ANY credibility to the story of Iran giving aid and comfortI think there's little doubt that Iran is allowing (whether it's providing support or simply not interfering is somewhat debatable, IMHO) some upper level members of Al Qaeda to operate from its territory. There is still some question as to whose these terrorist leaders are.
