Laura Bush is really quite a beautiful woman in her way.

I think W would agree with you. As for this American male, you can keep your Cindy Crawfords and Julia Roberts...I'll take a Laura Bush any day. I guess I've reached the age where inner beauty is more important to me. But there are looks in many of these photos where she is stunning.

Thanks for recognizing the compliment I was paying our First Lady. There is the tinsel-town kind of beauty that comes and goes with makeup and a few years time. Then there's the kind of beauty that lets a 57-year-old mother of two look as radiant and serene as does Mrs. Bush. We should all be so fortunate to have the latter.
