Thanks for this pic. I love seeing photos of "the tank," i.e., the new presidential limousine. Whenver I get the chance, I enjoy watching the president's security detail in the background and their perpetually unamused expressions, LOL! The man who was President Bush's lead Secret Service agent at the time of 9/11 either retired or changed posts sometime during the year following. I have often wondered if the strain of those days weighed so heavily on him that he decided to retire, but of course I'll never know the answer.

I liked the perspective that pic added to the PM's house, and the presidential limo, with the two couples out front.

Thanks for noticing!

The Secret Service agents on the President's detail (and the First Lady's, for that matter) are usually cycled out after two years. It is intensive work - lots of travel, time away from families, and of course, the pace of today's world and the constant threats to the President.

I have seen some of the previous SS agents in pictures taken in the White House when dignataries are visiting. I'm sure that that job is a less-intensive position.

I thought you'd want to know.
