Oh, I love those 'reunion on the WhiteHouse lawn' pictures when the doggies come out to greet their Mommy and Daddy!

I think this one may be in the middle of the night, though. The pups may be fast asleep in the White House residence and greet them there! :o)

Even today in the press conference, one of the reporters referred to how much President Bush is hated, and it almost made me cry to look at his face.

The only solace is that they are RIGHT, and will be rewarded eternally for what they are doing for the world.......and I think they both know that.

Laura Bush is really quite a beautiful woman in her way.

I think W would agree with you. As for this American male, you can keep your Cindy Crawfords and Julia Roberts...I'll take a Laura Bush any day. I guess I've reached the age where inner beauty is more important to me. But there are looks in many of these photos where she is stunning.

The importance and eloquence of some of this president's speeches have been overlooked or downplayed by the media, in my opinion. I plan to do a compendium of the most significant passages and post it here on FR early next year to kick of the campaign season. As for the tagline, I've tried others, but keep coming back to this quote because of the hope that rings in those beautiful words.

Yeah, it makes me want to cry, too. I don't see how people can't see his compassion . . . but I think the evil out there blocks evil people from seeing the 'good' that's out there, don't you?

I can see why they don't read the papers or watch TV too much. It would be too painful to see yourself (or a loved one) criticized so harshly and so constantly. They do know their eternal reward, and they know what they're doing is RIGHT, and to those men, with principle and character, that matters more than the misguided opinions of some.
