I wish these idiots would wake up and stop violating the Washington ADIZ

Yeah, you're right, there are numerous documented cases of ATC vectoring GA aircraft into the Washington ADIZ and Whitehouse restricted areas. But an on-the-ball pilot should catch it and tell ATC that they're being idiots - get it on tape so that ATC supervisors and FAA bureaucrats know what's going on (all ATC communications are taped for those who don't know).

Flight Service has even let pilots file flight plans into airports currently in the restricted area and the poor pilots are paying the price for blundering into it with approval of ATC. You can't even fly out of one of these airports without a special background check and a special flight plan and transponder code.

Some pilots have even had their tickets suspended because of this ATC incompetency.
