President bush is correct. Jews, Christians (Mormons, Baptists, Catholics, etc), Muslims all worship the same God.

You may not like it, but it's true. If you deny that the God of the Muslims is the God of the Christians then you must deny that the God of the Catholics is the God of the Baptists or the Mormons or the adventists.

Now Mohamed may very well be a false prophet (and I'm very inclined to agree that he is) and the spin he placed on the judeah core of the religion is also therefore false but the same exact God is being worshiped.

I would like to see how worship of a 3000 year old dead moon god is the worship of God Almighty. My God does not advocate rape of 6 year olds. My God sent his only begotten Son to die on the cross for my sins and who rose from the dead three days later.

Islam is a cult and false religion. For President Bush to make a statement as this is a slap in the face to many citizens of the respective states who are Christian

Sorry. Read a Bible and come back later. If you believe what's in the Bible, you can't believe in "Allah". If you don't believe what's in the Bible, you can believe anything you want.

Completely agree and if you read the story of Abraham in Genesis you find support for this.

Do you know what the Law of Non-Contradiction is? That Law says that you are wrong. Logic always wins. The muslim God is monotheistic, but Jesus is not God and Allah is not a triune God. In Christianity, God is triune, and Jesus is God. Conclusion: This cannot possibly be the same God as these two groups have different idea of Who God is. Both cannot be true at the same time. Logic doesn't allow it. Therefore, you are wrong as wrong can be.

You said.....President bush is correct. Jews, Christians (Mormons, Baptists, Catholics, etc), Muslims all worship the same God. "

I say......You are WRONG!

Allah is not the same god. Allah is based on the lunacy of the moon gods.

MOhammed made up this religion after he had hallucinations in a cave.

He went home afterward and wanted to commit suicide because he felt the devil had visited him.

His wife at the time talked him into thinking that it was not the devil...but an angel that he had halucinated.

He then went on (with the help of other supposed religeous leaders), to make up a religion that 1.5 billion people now think is the worship of the same god that Christians do.

Just beacuse they believe that this is the same god does not make it so.

Two men met who were from the same small town. they got to talking and discovered that they had the same last name. After further discussion they found that their fathers have the same name and they are both men of about the same age. Oddly enough neither of the men had seen their fathers since they were children. They start discussing the possibility that they are brthers. So they begin comparing their dads.

First one starts off saying his dad is real tall, which he would be to any child, and the second agrees that his dad fits the bill. one says he was real strong, and the other agrees. One says he had a hearty laugh, as did the other. So far so good.

Then things start to change. First one describe his dad's hair, his beard, his mustache, his dress. These things could be changed easily, and details misremembered from childhood, so after some thought they agree that it still could be the same man.

Then he describes his dad's face and his character. The things he taught them and the way he dealt with people. Now there is a definite difference. One man is kindly, merciful, laughing at a good joke, generous to strangers. The other is scornful, bitter, prone to take rather than give, taking pleasure in the pain of others. One family had taken in orphans and the other had actually driven out a daughter that had fallen out of favor. The one father taught his sons and daughters of the equality of all people, the other said that only his sons really mattered. One face showed power with self restraint, the other looked simply vengeful and sullen.

After all this they finally decided that they were not sons of the same man. They were not brothers.

The first man invites the second to dinner to talk about the town and childhood. In spite of not being brothers they still have a fair amount in common. The second man simply scowls and pulls the pin.

Wrong. The god of the muslims is not a true god. Allah was made up by Mohammed from a moon god. As I said in another post, the God of the Jews and Christians do not fly planes into buildings to kill thousands of people. You need to understand the differences between us and the Muslims.

Jews, Christians (Mormons, Baptists, Catholics, etc), Muslims all worship the same God.

My God was crucified and was resurrected.

My God is the eternal one, has always been God, and He created the Heavens and the Earth. (see John 1)

My God is not the "spirit brother" of Satan. He did not start out as a man on His way to deification. ("As man is God once was; As God is man may become." Mormonism)

My God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Before Him no Gods were formed, and none after. (see Isaiah 43:10)

My God must be worshipped in spirit and it truth.

This is the God of the Bible.

I went to a Christian college and studied many years the history behind the world religions. The President is correct. Three major religions came out of the same desert region. "The Father" is the same with Jews, Christians and Muslims. Our God that we know in the Old Testament is the same God of the Jews and the Muslims. We three faiths branch off after that. The differences can even be traced to one family line from the Old Testament. Hate to say it guys---but "God" is the same for all of us. "Jesus" in unique to the Christians---but, all three faiths got their start from the same beginning---"God" mankind gave names to "God" and it was mankind---NOT GOD OUR FATHER who broke up the "faiths" into three different beliefs. Give the President credit---he wouldn't say a stupid thing like that if he didn't know what he was talking about.

Muslims worship an idol of their own making. They do not recognize Jesus Christ as Lord. They do not recognize the work of the Holy Spirit in the heart of the repentant. Ergo they do not worship the Trinitarian God. Ergo they do not worship the same God as Christians. Rather they worship an idol of their own making,

PCX99 WROTE: "President bush is correct. Jews, Christians (Mormons, Baptists, Catholics, etc), Muslims all worship the same God."

PCX99 ADDED: "You may not like it, but it's true. If you deny that the God of the Muslims is the God of the Christians then you must deny that the God of the Catholics is the God of the Baptists or the Mormons or the adventists."

--------------------------------------------

I AM RESPONDING:
I have a LOT of Morman relatives and what I am about to tell you may SHOCK you, but over the years I have read a LOT about Mormanism and have now confirmed their beliefs with several of my relatives individually.

I don't know if you are aware of it, but Mormans believe that the Christian "Trinity" of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are THREE different "personages," NOT one being in three different forms.

If you notice, Mormans never refer to "God" as "God." Mormans always refer to "God" as "Our Heavenly Father." That is because Temple Mormans believe that:
(1) "God" was once a man like us,
(2) "God" is just one of MANY Gods,
(3) "God" became the "God of the Earth,"
(4) "God" came down from "Heaven" and had PHYSICAL sex with Mary (how Jesus' birth could still be considered a 'virgin' birth is beyond me!), and
(5) All Temple Morman men are aiming to become "Gods" themselves (with the help of their wives who are aiming to become "Godesses"), with planets of their own to rule some day in eternity.

As Ripley says, "Believe It Or Not!"
