Burning question: Will you get fined? No-burn violators will be notified by mail.

About 60 district employees hit the streets at various times during the day and evening Tuesday in Fresno and Kern counties to look for houses where wood was burning in a fireplace, stove or heater.

These are 60 salaries paid for by people who actually work for a living. 60 salaries paid to people a$$holes whose sole purpose in life is to go around and cause trouble for other people for heating their homes. Anyone wonder why taxes are so high in the Peoples' Democracy of Kalifornia?

"I wonder how much pollution these inspectors put into the air, driving around looking for offenders?"

That was my first thought, then expanded it to consider the total costs, including the trees that were cut to make the paper, the inks that were manufatured to make the photos, and print the letters, and the pollution/cost of the postal service vehicles.

But, it might save bambi!

"Or ban them from the state."

Now, you're talking common sense!

Oh, God forbid we should burn a fire!!! It's okay to burn up all that forest....that won't hurt the environment....thanks to the ecofreaks. We could solve the energy crisis with the fallen rotten timber in this country if they'd just get out of the way.
