"I thought Carlos was dead"

No, no, not dead. In a French prison for life. Or for now, as I'm sure he views it, possibly not without reason. I wonder if the food is less than awful.

Then again, I had my baby in a Jewish hospital and thought the food might be edible, since it would be Kosher. After my first serving I realized, ah yes, Kosher food, like the kind you get in an Israeli prison.

I hope Carlos remains hungry, cold, and miserable tonight. I'd hope he'd repent, but it seems like a big waste of hope to me. I'll just hope he never gets out alive.

The feckless French have made a sort of hero of Carlos in prison. He was allowed to marry a "fan" and has visitation, and a new family with them.
