Of course, half a century ago, she'd have been dead for years already. A century ago, they wouldn't have given her death a second thought.

My healthy little granddaughter didn't take too well to being born and she might not have made it back then either. I am very grateful that she was born during a time when medical knowledge was available to help her. That said, Who knows what would have happened to Terri? I guess a lot would have depended on her caregivers.

I'm glad you feel that way because I have seen posts where it seems people are saying that they want her to die because they would not want to live like that. I'm glad you would want Terri to live if she wanted to. We aren't that far apart here.
