"That's what a nasty article said a couple of days ago. Bush has enough money to own a closet full of tails and what ever goes with it."
I didn't read about the tails, I heard it on the radio this past week. I don't believe it has anything to do with having enough money to own a suit of tails and I didn't view it as a nasty comment. I saw it bolstering the fact that Bush is an ordinary guy who has no need to clutter his closet with clothes he hates to wear. I can't see the President actually owning any tails. He's not into pomp and circumstance and resists those types of receptions.
