You have your Disney movies mixed up. Neverland was Peter Pan, but it was an island with tree houses and the pirates. Children there (The Lost Boys). Pinocchio had Pleasure Island with the amusement park and the kids who turned into donkeys.
Both, however, are highly appropriate analogies.
