The bottom line is that Congress is offering American seniors, 76 percent of whom already enjoy third-party prescription coverage, a drug plan with a $4,000 deductible. A private insurance company offering such a deal would likely have no takers.

It amazes me to this day how seniors are so gullible when it comes to politicians and the AARP. PLEASE - read the bill and realize that it will be your grandchildren who will have to burden the cost of this entitlement!

If either of my elderly parents told me to support this bill, I'd tell them to get a percription for their depend undergarments, because any money I may have forwarded them for later in life just got swallowed up.
