Be suspicious of big crowds on TV. I went to a taping of Wheel of Fortune a few years ago. There was maybe two hundred people in the audience. When it was broadcast it looked like thousands of people. They had us all sit in a clump in the middle of the room so they could cut & paste around us. That's the magic of television!

lol sounds like the "pre-recordeed laughter" on all the sitcoms.

That is what TV crews do for any demonstration they are sympathetic to. They get just the right shot that shows a lot of people but implies ten times more are to the sides or behind the camera. They're not.
