homosexuals are an abomination!
Definition: abomination - an action that is vicious or vile; an action that arouses disgust or abhorence; evildoing, transgression - the act of transgressing; the violation of a law or a duty or moral principle;
They are very sick people.

Ladies who have passed through menopause, please take note: This guy doesn't think you should be allowed to marry.

Ok, Brandon, you're in the number one slot for stupid statements of the day. I'll keep you posted.

Catholic official likens same-sex unions to abortion

My thoughts on this are:
1. Same sex unions are not in the Bible, or part of nature.
2. There can be no natural offspring from same sex unions.
3. Abortion kills babies.
4. If there are no offspring from same sex unions, and we keep killing babies, mankind is doomed.

My solution to this is, put all gays on one island and all lesbians on another. Give them on generation, and there will be no gays or lesbians to deal with. Their culture will be gone.

Spiritual violence....

Maybe it could be said that the sodomites are walking in Spiritual Blindness.

DeSade believed that anal intercourse was the anti-god and slap at Creation itself since it denied life.

a same-sex union contradicts the purpose of marriage because "it is not based on the natural complementarity of male and female; it cannot cooperate with God to create new life; and the natural purpose of sexual union cannot be achieved by a same-sex union

Short, succinct and straight to the point!

Catholic Ping - let me know if you want on/off this list

Only Al Sharpton, Carol Moseley Braun and Dennis Kucinich, all trailing at the back of the pack, support same-sex marriage.

Dennis Kucinich is the Co-Chair of the Progressive Caucus - b/k/a The Democratic Socialists of America

I love plain-speaking.

Yesterday I was listening to Eagan and Braude (two ultra-liberals) on a Boston radio station. It was nauseating. They were delighted with the judges' ruling. Eagan, who considers herself a Catholic, was effusive. I pay attention to her because I think she represents a large number of cultural Catholics. Obviously, the Church's teaching on the matter did not bear on her opinion.

However, I wouldn't be too sure that gay "marriage" will be rejected by the voters. Most people, after having been told by the media in a relentless campaign that they are practicing "spiritual violence" by opposing it, will go with the flow.

I agree. I've heard plenty of callers on talk radio saying things like, "you have to keep up with the times." Jesus repeatedly calls us "sheep." I'm not going to argue with Him.

"The Massachusetts Constitution affirms the dignity and equality of all individuals," the majority wrote. "It forbids the creation of second-class citizens."

This is right out of freakin' Monty Python.

FRANCIS:

Yeah. I think Judith's point of view is very valid, Reg, provided the Movement never forgets that it is the inalienable right of every man--

STAN: Or woman.

FRANCIS: Or woman... to rid himself--

STAN: Or herself.

FRANCIS: Or herself.

REG: Agreed.

FRANCIS: Thank you, brother.

STAN: Or sister.

FRANCIS: Or sister. Where was I?

REG: I think you'd finished.

FRANCIS: Oh. Right.

REG: Furthermore, it is the birthright of every man--

STAN: Or woman.

REG: Why don't you shut up about women, Stan. You're putting us off.

STAN: Women have a perfect right to play a part in our movement, Reg.

FRANCIS: Why are you always on about women, Stan?

STAN: I want to be one.

REG: What?

STAN: I want to be a woman. From now on, I want you all to call me 'Loretta'.

REG: What?!

LORETTA: It's my right as a man.

JUDITH: Well, why do you want to be Loretta, Stan?

LORETTA: I want to have babies.

REG: You want to have babies?!

LORETTA: It's every man's right to have babies if he wants them.

REG: But... you can't have babies.

LORETTA: Don't you oppress me.

REG: I'm not oppressing you, Stan. You haven't got a womb! Where's the foetus going to gestate?! You going to keep it in a box?!

LORETTA: [crying]

JUDITH: Here! I-- I've got an idea. Suppose you agree that he can't actually have babies, not having a womb, which is nobody's fault, not even the Romans', but that he can have the right to have babies.

FRANCIS: Good idea, Judith. We shall fight the oppressors for your right to have babies, brother. Sister. Sorry.

REG: What's the point?

FRANCIS: What?

REG: What's the point of fighting for his right to have babies when he can't have babies?!

FRANCIS: It is symbolic of our struggle against oppression.

REG: Symbolic of his struggle against reality.

Obviously, the Church's teaching on the matter did not bear on her opinion.

A 'cafeteria' catholic who picks and chooses what she will accept. She is a CINO.

If you can stomach it, here is where women like Eagan eventually "go" with their belief systems.

CHRISTIAN LESBIANS
"It's not a contradiction. Neither are you."

I'm with you on the coup d'etat part by our judicial and scientific branches - every aspect of this (and abortion) outrages me - from a moral, scientific, and democratic process.

""The problem is when they want their religion codified into law," she said. "They're mixing politics and religion in a way that we believe is wrong." "

To paraphrase from R. Zacharias, rzim.org...

radical seculization => no shame
radical plurality => no reason
radical privation => no meaning

I'll add my own

radical tolerance => callousness

Brilliant. So this behavior isn't chosen by people? It's somehow handed down from one gay person to another?
