I have read and re-read that book about a dozen times. Lots of little things you miss that are discovered each time through.
The movie/mini series sucked.

But I loved Kareem Abdul-Jabbar shouting "BRING OUT YOUR DEAD!" and then saying "The Dark Man is coming for you, Larry!"
That was amazingly over-the-top.
