I agree with you.

I'm the mother of a wonderful, brilliant child who has Asperger's Syndrome and I deeply resent ignorant, stupid, vicious people using it as an insult.

It wasn't an insult. I was making a point that asking personal questions like that was wrong. Was my point really that difficult to get? We're on the same side here... just regarding a different problem someone may have... sexual abuse versus something else. Using anthing like that as a weapon in a discussion is low. I don't appreciate being called ignorant, stupid, and vicious when I was being exactly the opposite.

BTW, I DO HAVE ASPERGER's (mild case) and that is why I used it as an example. NOTHING in my post even came close to suggesting anything negative about those of US that suffer from it. The point being two things, 1) It is improper to ask questions like that (throwing one at him so that he would see how it would be taken) and 2) that at time those with Asperger sometimes lack the ability to understand how their words can be taken.

Calling me vicious was way overboard. I understand your knee-jerk reaction having a child with it, but you really should have spent more time reading my other posts to "get" the point I was making before responding in such a horrible and nasty way.
