Oh tex,,in a sense you are right. My work brings me iinto daily contact with people who have been abused by family members, neighbors, boy scout leaders, priests. I see these people and know their stories. And in every case there were all kinds of people around who thought everything was hunky dory. That good old Father John was just interested, that Grandfather was just devoted, that baby sitter was so good with children. It leaves me with a healthy respect for the ability of seemingly harmless looking people to do bad things to kids.
