It's the condo associations. They're nothing but trouble. Can also happen in neighborhood associations if there are deed restrictions on your property. The law, as it stands, is on their side, the issue should be "buyer beware" and "full disclosure" of all the idiotic rules before you purchase.
My in-laws used to live in one of the Senior Adult Condo communities.
