It's true. They live a self defeating lifestyle. Overdoses, disease, S&M has killed alot of them off. They get into a self hating downward spiral because they know they're sick. They try to punish themselves. Most end up going overboard. Some ride bare back just to get AIDs. They feel they're worthy of that much self punishment. They literally hate themselves for what they are.
