I'm very interested in what the outcome for LTC West's hearing will be.

There seems to be some new information here regarding the conduct of LTC West. IIRC the this is the first article that lists a timeline including both LTC West and the soldiers who roughed up the Iraqi.

LTC Wwst was dealing with a SPY, the Iraqi policeman was a spy working for the enemy planning an ambush. LTC West was well within his rights to execute the spy. His actions saved lives of his troops because the plotted ambush was discovered through LTC West's actions. He desrevs a medal for his 'metal' instead of a JAG meddle. PERIOD!
