When I first moved to Texas, I was surpised at how much the Roman Catholic church was frowned upon by my Baptist friends. It was not until recently, when we were all standing on the same side of the breach, did they see the moral similarities (despite doctrinal differences) between the two.
In basic morality, traditional Roman Catholicism is very conservative (unlike the Americanized "Catholicism" which leans liberal). When they realized how conservative it is, they were very much surprised. Considering that there are very few R.C. schools down here, I'm sending my children to a Baptist school, instead.

Yeah, like there's any future for sexual degenerates in a truly Christian church in the 21st Century.

During the many times I have been among them -- and I have often been -- I have observed them, as a People, to have been an abjectly-corrupt, institutionally-criminalized, systemically-mendacious humanistic, nonthiestic and atheistic thieving, lying looting and mass-murdering rabble who had for the most part indicriminately converted their former churches to the storage of potatoes and of the corpses their chosen "way of life" [Of death, that is] always created in huge numbers.
Thus, I wish them, as a People, God-speed on their return to Christendom.
Code? What's that?
I believe absolutely in crystalizing and polarizing debate and my motto might as well be: -- F... Tact!
Blessings -- Brian

Well, I have also been among them, even during the days of Communism, and I disagree. The Russian Church survived, through great difficulty. And the Russian people are some of the kindest I have ever met.

You can ask same question in reference Nazism.

for the life of me I cannot understand how even the episcopal church can allow a practicing pickle puffer as a bishop! It's against their own doctrine!!

God Bless you both.
I agree that both Baptists and Orthodox sense the true vision of Jesus Christ.

The World Council of Churches formally maintained ties to the commies all during the 20th century and still absolutely adore Castro.
Can you be as vindictive against the WCC's members?

Russians have been Christian for 1000 years!?Russia has been a Christianized nation for a very long time, but IIRC, the Communist regime took its toll on the Orthodox Church. I'm happy to see that it has survived the Bolshevik Marxofascism.
