If the GOP increases its majority next November, then it's all good. If it merely maintains it, that's almost as good. If it loses it, then we can look back on a lot of wasted opportunities. Call me skittish. I can see the Democrats becoming more marginalized, but I guess I'm too used to being in the minority to count those chickens just yet.

If THAT happens then we will lose the Presidency also. Keep in mind, up until now, the GOP's greatest political benefit is a statesman BUT once he goes into full campaign swing, along with the record financial support he has received, fear not!
