Yes, being from the DC area, I'm quite partial to that pledge picture.

Free, Now you feature disrupters? LOL!

Haven't you been watching? I specialize in 'em! Me and dansangel, we look for those troublemakers who won't tow the media line and we expose them!

Well done Freesia! This was a good match, you writing about Chad. :)

I love your unique sense of humor Chad, you've brought smiles to many faces here. Your bio made me think about a sitcom in the 80's that had Michael J. Fox playing the clean cut Republican son with aging hippie parents (can't remember the name of it).

God Bless Our Military

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Below are names of some of our FReepers' loved ones who are serving our country. If you have someone you would like to add, please address a post to Billie; Dansangel; Dutchess; Mama_Bear; Aquamarine and we will add their name to this list. As we pray for them, we pray also for all our nation’s leaders, and military personnel, and their families and friends. May God hold them close to His heart.
~~~~~~~~~~   ~~~~~~~~~~

We ask Lord, that You guide the leaders of our great country in their hour of decision. The burden that has been placed on their shoulders is overwhelming. We ask that with Your infinite wisdom You guide them gently to the right decisions.
Please give us the strength, Lord, to get through each difficult and devastating day that faces each of us and our country. Protect and guide our Military that are now being called to duty, strengthen them in their trials and temptations; give them courage to face the perils which beset them; and grant them a sense of your abiding presence wherever they may be; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Thanks. And you know I hope I don't give Chad performance anxiety about his taglines. I emphasized them for the humor hook, but it's the substance of his posts -- he's a very substantive guy -- that earns him his day in the sun for sure!

speaking of taglines, I couldn't help but notice that dansangel was sporting just a lovely tagline in her thread last week, "Visualize No Democrats"

Yeah, he's actually a serious guy too but he knows how to have fun. Libertina swears by his energy level: very active in her chapter.

I think it was "Family Ties" that featured a Republican son of Hippie parents.

LOL... My parents weren't hippies... thank God. They were mainly union democrats, but still - supporting Reagan was a no-no LOL
